The next meeting of the "Corruption and Transparency" working group of the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings was held

On April 26, 2024, the next meeting of the "Corruption and Transparency" working group of the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings was held.

The General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Finance, the Accounting Chamber, the "Transparency-Azerbaijan Fight Against Corruption" Public Union, the "Development of Society and Civil Relations" Public Union, "Azercell", " Azerconnect", "NEQSOL" companies and representatives of other institutions participated.

At the meeting chaired by the head of the working group, the deputy head of the Anti-Corruption Directorate under the Prosecutor General Asaf Sarikishiyev, speeches were made about the work done during the first quarter of the current year regarding the implementation of the measures provided for in the corresponding "Action Plan" of the working group.

In the continuation of the meeting, civil society institutions and representatives of the private sector put forward the necessary proposals related to the issues of expanding the state-business-civil society dialogue, as well as it was decided to do the relevant work in order to speed up the procedure on the mentioned issues in order to create a thematic group.
