Discussion on Execution and Communication Plan for Starting a Business was held

The Center for Analysis and Communication of Economic Reforms (CAERC) hosted a discussion of the Implementation and Communication Plan for the Second Half of 2019 on reforms in starting a business in order to improve the business environment and country's position in international rankings. Vusal Gasimly, Executive Director of the CAERC, said that it has been planned to continue the works in the second half of 2019 to further promote the new digital electronic registration system at both global and local levels, improve the electronic registration system in the country and expand the scope of the system. During the discussion, it was emphasized that the Plan has focused on work businesses. To this end, the Center will analyze the results of the trainings and meetings organized for the businesses in the first half of 2019 to raise awareness on the new electronic system. It is also planned to prepare and proposals to submit to the Secretariat of the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings to ensure efficient delivery of information and improvement of the communication. In addition, a list of public unions and business associations and corresponding coordinators will be drawn up and meetings will be held to raise awareness of businesses on the reforms in the area of starting a business. There will be intensive cooperation with leading consulting companies, international and local non-governmental organizations and mass media, as well as other media outlets. The discussion on Implementation and Communication Plan for the second half of 2019 related to reforms in the field of starting a business  was attended by the representatives of the  Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, Ministry of Taxes, State Statistical Committee, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Justice, State Agency for Services to Citizen and Social Innovation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Chamber of Auditors, Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, KPMG Azerbaijan Ltd, Ekvita, Ernst & Young Azerbaijan, PricewaterhouseCoopers Azerbaijan, BM Morrison Partners, Dentons Azerbaijan, and Baku Law Center.
