“Azərbaycan Respublikası Mülki Məcəlləsinin təkmilləşdirilməsi” işçi qrupun üzvlərinin və maraqlı tərəflərin video-konfrans formatında növbəti görüşü keçirilib

The next meeting of the members of the Working Group on “Improving the Civil Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan” and interested parties (subjects applying Chapters 1 and 2 of the Civil Code or affected by such application) was held in a video-conference format. Vusal Shikhaliyev, Head of the Secretariat of the Commission, the leadership and members of the working group, as well as representatives of interested parties, participated in the meeting.

Opening the meeting with an introductory speech, Vusal Shikhaliyev, Head of the Secretariat of the Commission, emphasized the importance of the creation and activity of the working group, including the improvement of the Civil Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which is the chief and most fundamental legislative act regulating relations in the economic sphere. Subsequently, Samir Mahmudov, Head of the Working Group and Executive Director of The Center for Legal Examination and Legislative Initiatives, provided information on the work accomplished by the working group in the first quarter of 2024 and the measures expected soon.

During the meeting, the sections of the Concept Document covering Chapters 1 and 2 of the Civil Code were presented to the meeting participants, and the proposals of the participants regarding the document were discussed and their questions were answered.
