Public Procurement single web portal

For efficient planning and implementation of the public procurement and creating opportunities to use competitive procurement methods, in accordance with the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev, the amendments were made to the Law of Republic of Azerbaijan “On Public Procurement”. Thus, by means of the single web portal all members of the society will have access to the information on the government’s procurement plans, participation in tenders, and conclusion of contracts. As a result of reforms in the sphere of the public procurement, the procurement agency will determine provision of the tender proposal at the rate of 1% of the total bid price. The time required for considering the consignors’ complaints is reduced from 20 banking days to 10 banking days. In addition, the adopted decisions will be provided electronically within 1 banking day instead of 3.
