Work done in the first quarter of 2025 on the implementation of improvements and communication in the Internet sector was discussed

On June 30, the next meeting of the “Internet Connection and Internet Infrastructure” Working Group, led by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Commission for Business Environment and International Ratings, was held. The meeting was attended by the head and members of the Working Group, as well as representatives of the private sector.

The meeting discussed the work done in the first quarter of 2025 on the implementation of improvements and communication in the relevant field in relation to the “Utilities (Internet)” indicator of the World Bank Group’s “Business Ready” report, and identified the tasks ahead.

The head of the working group, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Sameddin Asadov, made an opening speech and noted that the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and other relevant agencies have taken appropriate measures to increase the business environment and further improve our country's position in international rankings.

At the same time, he noted that in response to the questionnaire addressed to the Ministry by the World Bank, the relevant information of a reporting nature was submitted in early January, and based on these indicators, the next edition of the "Business ready" report, which will be published in October 2025, will provide an opportunity to familiarize ourselves with the assessment of our country.
