The next meeting of the working group on "Financial Markets Development and Accesibility of Loans" has been held.

The next meeting of the Working Group on Financial Markets Development and Accesibility of Loans of the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings has been held on July 13, 2021, 15:00 through online platform “Webex”.

Topics on projects submitted by the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan Republic within the implementation of the relevant instruction of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan Republic titled 18425/ 14767 aid/10921 aid, improvement of regulatory mechanisms and knowledge and skills in order to improve risk management in banks, acceleration of the transition process to Basel III standards to strengthen capital sustainability of banks and providing methodological support to banks to increase financial inclusion of banks have been discussed in the meeting organized through online platform “Webex” due to COVID-19 global pandemic virus.

At the end of the meeting held in the format of mutual discussions, it has been decided to summarize the proposals on the issues highlighted during the meeting and put them in the draft form and submit to the Secretary of the Comission within the state-business dialogue through the working group.

Representatives of the Central Bank, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, the Ministry of Justice, Azerbaijan Banks Association, Embassy of Switzerland to the Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan Microfinance Association and banks have participated at the meeting.
