The Next meeting of the working group on "Foreign trade and trade tariffs" has been held

The next meeting of the Working Group on "Foreign Trade and Trade Tariffs" of the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings was held on March 5, 2021 in a video conference format. Khazar Bashirov, Head of the Working Group, Head of the Trade Policy and World Trade Organization Department of the Ministry of Economy, opened the meeting and greeted the members and briefed the participants on the activities to be implemented during the current year according to the Action Plan of the Working Group approved for 2021.

Mr. Vusal Shikhaliyev, Head of the Secretariat of the Commission, participating in the meeting wished success to the work of the Working Group, expressed hope that the implementation of the measures in the approved Action Plan approved for 2021 will further increase the position of our country in international rankings in the field of foreign trade.

According to the agenda of the event, representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the State Customs Committee and the Food Safety Agency that are the main executive bodies, made presentations on the issues arising from the implementation of the Working Group's Action Plan for 2021 and the tasks ahead, afterwards, discussions were held with the representatives of the relevant agencies represented in the Working Group, and relevant proposals were made.
