Working Group on Effective Management and Macroeconomic Indicators of the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings holds next meeting

On July 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM, the next meeting of the Working Group on “Effective Management and Macroeconomic Indicators” under the Business Environment and International Rankings Commission was held via video conference.

The meeting was attended by responsible officials from the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy, the State Oil Fund, the State Statistical Committee, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, reports on the work carried out in the first half of 2025 within the framework of the approved work plan of the Working Group were presented. The reports covered issues such as ensuring budget transparency, debt sustainability, the burden of state regulation, monetary freedom, the Global Innovation Index, as well as the effective management of natural resources.

The head of the Working Group, Azer Alasgarov, Director of the Monetary Policy Department of the Central Bank, concluded the discussions by stating that work on the implementation of the approved work plan must continue. He shared his views with the participants regarding the necessity of more effective communication of the information on the work carried out.
