The next meeting of the working group on Financial Markets Development and Accessibility of Loans has been held

The next meeting of the Working Group on Financial Markets Development and Accessibility of Loans of the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings was held online on August 7, 2025.

At the meeting, detailed information was presented on the work done during the first half of the year on the measures arising from the 2025 Action Plan of the working group and discussions were held.

The meeting participants were informed about the measures whose implementation period under the Action Plan expired during the first half of the current year, including the education and financing of small and medium-sized enterprises, the development of banking, insurance and capital markets, increasing financial literacy and inclusion, and other relevant measures, and an exchange of views was held on the aforementioned topics.

At the same time, a report on the implementation status of the decisions adopted at the meeting of the working group on May 22, 2025 was discussed.

At the meeting, chaired by the Central Bank and the Secretariat of the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings, it was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Justice, the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency, the Business Development Fund, the Agrarian Credit and Development Agency the Azerbaijan Credit Bureau, as well as the Azerbaijan Banks Association, the Azerbaijan Insurers Association, the Azerbaijan Microfinance Association, and the working group members of the private sector participants.
