Meeting was held in the working group "Corporate Governance, Investments, Protecting Investors' Interests, Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility"

On October 9, 2019 a meeting was held in the working group "Corporate Governance, Investments, Protecting Investors' Interests, Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility" with the participation of public sector, public associations and business community.

The members of the Working Group and other participants were given information about  the digital platform azranking.az, which was presented in April of this year, and A “Digital Calendar”, which was created to increase the efficiency of the Commission's working groups, and accessibility and transparency in this area, as well as to provide public participation in detail.

Furthermore, wide discussion was held of work carried out by the Working Group to date, the position of our country on the relevant sub-indicators of the international reports assigned to the working group, as well draft laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Investment Funds” and the Civil Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Investment Activities”.

At the same time, the sides exchanged views on the issues to be discussed at the next meeting of the Working Group.
